What I Said About My College Life

Being a university student of islamic state university has changed the way i think of life a lot. The activities in the college completely colour my life journey with the upside-down and joyful to sadness moments. Since the campus change its name from institute to university on the year i was enrolled my name, it means that i (and all of the new students) have to deal with several changes of circumstances, rules and other new development of the university. I become the part of changes, the part of something that wills to develop itself to be a better and pleasant area for education. The university made a lot of development and expansion of study, so am i. 

First and foremost, i never imagine that i ended up in islamic university but as you guys know that i've graduated from there. Alhamdulillah. In the freshman year, i discovered a lot of exciting things to be learn about Islam, my religion. I'm interested to dig more and more (untill now) about Islam since i became aware of the connection with the world i live in now and then. I never thought that i would be able to understand about the unexplain thing. It all happened when i had some islamic subject in my study and those subject was link to each other. That made me excited and wanted to know the continuity of the study. 

Furthermore, the university has made a lot of improvement, start from several new sites, facilities, tall buildings, and the most important thing is the great mosque has been done. The architecture is unbelievable! and the wall cravings is so details. The place around the mosque is so peaceful and calmful. Another thing that change is the curriculum, especially in my study program. There are some new subjects, new requirements to graduate, new lecturer. To finish my study, i have to adapt and deal with the things going on my campus, presently. Moreover, with the pandemic situation where all things went online, we experience lots of college moments at home. The students in this era create a new rule about how to deal with people or things online. The attitude to speak with the lecturer, the way we finish the administration things, the behavior of online class, and the assignments, the exam that we've done.

Through all new situation and condition, i get to know myself better than i was before. I changed to a new me, the one that is better than before and I become the person who are strong, independent, confidence, principled, honest and wise. Aamiin. Well actually, a lot of unmentioned moments happened but i can't give you all of that.

I'm beyond grateful that this is my path, having a chance to deepen the knowledge of Islam while i'm studying, surrounding with thoughtful people. Both the university and i change together to a better God's creation for a better future of dunya.

/ May Allah give us Mercy and Blessing and May Allah grant us wisdom to help us living this world /

Accomplishing my second and third degree in a row ...

There was a sudden driving force inside my heart to continue my study in English Education right after I graduated in 2022. The battle in that year and the following year is totally clear in my mind. The time that I spent searching for a university and a scholarship to continue my study. The time to think about what is a better thing to choose and do. The time to work at a school to earn my own money. Then, there was an announcement sent from my parents of a scholarship to pursue teacher professional education; the scholarship was funded by Kemendikbud . Living gratefully in 1/4 century era

People said that the age of 25 is a quarter-life crisis era; well, that phrase doesn't work for me. Being 25 means facing exciting things in my life, jumping to the next phase of life, and becoming more steady and mindful about life. Realizing that life has gone far that takes me to where I am right now and become who I am right now, I couldn't be more grateful for how Allah wrote down my destiny beautifully.
